Spending time...

bonding with the newly created family, Life is Good.

Lil one is absolutely beautiful,
absolutely no bias at all.
Really if you were to see him,
You'd be enamored and in awe.

I'm teaching my mommy skills,
to the next generation,
learned from my own mother,
not a moment's hesitation.

I love this new family,
more than words can express.
That I am able to be here,
hug, kiss, cuddle, caress.

Yes, Life is Good in Pennsylvania!

  1. You are very fortunate to have him close- you will never feel so loved as with a new grand!!

  3. I will paraphrase a Yiddish saying.
"May he bring you much joy in the coming years, and dance at his wedding in the best of health."
(sorta loses something in the translation, but you get the idea.)
I'm very happy for you, grandma! :-)

  4. Thanks MK, he's brought me so much joy already in his short little life. From the moment of joy I felt when I found out about his pending arrival to the joy of being at his birth to the happiness (and tiredness) of helping take care of him during his first week or so, I have been filled with joy.
Oh, btw, Dylan and I had a talk about what song we're going to dance to at his wedding already... but we are hoping our footwork is better than what we've been doing thus far!
    :-)
