Fresh Starts

Things have changed a bit in my life... as they do in everyone's life.

I am entering a new phase in my life.  I, along with my brothers & sister have entered the phase of co-caretaker for mom.

Shortly after her birthday in March, mom was hospitalized.  Although all tests proved negative, it quickly became apparent that the process of getting her house ready for sale was overwhelming for her AND she simply cannot live alone.  The apartment is out of the question, at least for now.

Now that my brother, who's had her since her hospital discharge AND, finally got a job after a year of unemployment (thank God) will not be home during the day, mom has come to live with me.  She's been here for 1.5 weeks and there's been some challenges.

With this change in life, lifestyle, routine (heck what's routine anymore?) I think it would be nice for me to capture the good with the bad, the ugly for a couple of reasons.  To have this as something to look back upon and be able to reflect upon some of the day-to-day happenings as well as to use this as an outlet for my thoughts, fears, frustrations, experiences and celebrations.

I am going to start another blog dedicated to the most important woman in the world to me, my mother Anne.  A fresh start of sorts.  Nothing earth shattering but that's me.
