So what have you been up to lately?

Still not done...

but getting closer! YAY!

The cabinets arrived.

 

And now there's tons of boxes inside!

 

Then the appliances arrived 

and now there's tons and tons of boxes inside!

 

And the lighting and wallpaper arrived...

 

 

And the paint arrived and was placed on the walls, 

Heck even a few of the cabinets along the wall got hung...

But we're still not done...

I can't wait for this project to be completed

so I can finally enjoy a kitchen that can

be considered the heart of the home.

Where family and friends can gather 

in comfort and linger on and visit!

Coffee's on... ya gonna grab a mug and join in?

80 Years Young, Happy Birthday Mom!

I am so excited and happy to be able to celebrate

my Mom's 80th Birthday tonight.

I've gathered my sister and brothers together to

join me and Mom to celebrate.  One brother,

due to prior commitments, won't be able to make

it.

My 'Bride-to-be' daughter lives at Mom's most 

of the time so Mom asked her to join and being the 

Diplomat that I am, I asked my other daughter to 

join us for the celebration!

Heading out to a nice, old, traditional family 

restaurant in the County Seat.  There's something

about the place the brings history to your meal.

What better place to celebrate Mom's 80 year history?

Happy 80th Birthday Mom!

Started out my work week with having to
extinguish a fire from Sr. Mgmt...
Had to reach out to our European counterparts
for help...
Our good friends over the pond in the UK
were able to help us...
Still more follow up to do but geez, then I was in
meetings until a short bit ago....
