Hubby Update...

Just got off the phone with my dear hubby...
he sounds horrible.  I feel the need to repeat that,
he sounds HORRIBLE!

According to him, they've taken all meds away.
This is day 6 and if what he says is true, he's in
the throws of withdraw.

He's sick, throwing up and in pain.

Yup, it's withdraw alright.

I found it necessary to remain positive for his sake.
I told him to hang tough and that this was all needed
so the doctors could evaluate his pain.

This is going to be a hard, painful struggle for him.

Please send good mojo and prayers our way.

Silly Little Bad Blogger...

Where Have You Been?

I resemble that little ditty!

Quick recap, as if you cared! HA!

Hubby is finally down at Johns Hopkins for his six week stay.  I pray that he is not in too much discomfort while they adjust his meds and that he comes home at the end of September in a far better place than he is today.

He's suffered with RSD, now known as CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) for 23 years!  It's not an easy life.  

The weeks leading up to his stay saw him run the gamut of emotions; everything from anger to acceptance.  It was important for him to deal with these emotions and accept.  Honestly, I still think he's only half accepted even though he's there in the program.  

Patience grasshopper, patience!  

Anyway, thought I'd drop a little thought down here since I have neglected my millions of fans who await the pearly words of wisdom from my ruby lips each week.  

Sarcasm, can't live with it, can't live without it!

Oh, and my son has left today for a trip up NYC way... doing a concert and maybe a Jersey shore stay over.... so

ALONE!!!!!

Can't tell you the last time I was alone in my house.... think I'm going to strip down and run around naked just because!  Hehehehehe....
